I own this movie and put it in my top 5 best seen movies this month because this flim blows me away every time I watch it. Every nuance is so intricate, the most mundane details are beutiful. This movie is not for those who like one dimensional comedies spoon fed to them. Any Meg Ryan fan who likes her as a perky, goofy blonde would not care for her in this. Ryan is sultry, sexy, seductive while maintaining an emotional detachment from reality. The plot goes through many twists and turns and leaves alot of blanks for you to fill in. It suggests more than it shows. Mark Ruffalo keeps you guessing, never fully trusting his character. For hard core intellectual films, In the Cut won't let you down.
